The company which is located at Obanikoro had long time opening ceremony penultimate week with lots of Nigerian celebrities that added colour to the occasion.
Tee Mac, the immediate Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN) was the chairman of the occasion. He noted that the staff of the newly opened company will face lots of challenges in understanding the attitude of their staff. So they need to be focus in order to achieve the aiming results. The executive staffs need to study their junior staffs attitude for deliverable’s sake. The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Omoyoma Okoro further reacted that they are in the business to make innovative changes. “ Event Solutions is ready for full action”, he said. Aside social and corporate events, we are also into buying media.
Abuja Residence Welcomes Nite of Thousand Laughs
Nite of a Thousand Laugh, a comic brand which has been existing for couple of years now will be heading to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja in May 1st.
Information revealed that the Opa Williams events outfit lead crew has secured the service of Basketmouth, I Go Die, X-Project and other Nigerian great stars to spice up the event.
Opa Williams according to findings is talking to Earo Contractor, ABC and other corporate bodies to be part of the event.
After the Abuja event, the next location might be Benin City, the Capital of Edo State if the information reaching Star track is anything to go by.

Nigerian Music Awards Hold in the East

It seems events organisers are looking at balancing the rotation of social and corporate events and this is why the organisers of Nigerian Music Awards 2008 recently announced that Imo State is the next location the event will take place.
Star track information revealed that the biggest music event ever as planned comes up on the 23rd to 25th , May 2008. The ceremony will be held in grand style at Owerri, the Imo State capital. Though, the organisers have not rolled out the nominees for the awards ceremony but it was gathered that this was as a result of the awards still going on in the entertainment industry. In fact, information added that this was positioned not to mislead the stakeholders and the music buffs that are willing to be part of the memorable event.

The organizers of Pa Kasumu’s 4Oth years on stage event have beckoned on Nigerian corporate bodies for maximum support.
A well-thought out programme to mark 40 years of a worthy career of Mr. Olukayode Olugbenga Odumosu (popularly called Pa Kasumu) both on stage and on movie set has just been released by the organisers of the event.The organizers have stated knocking at doors in order to make the event a memorable one. According to Star track information the organizers have written out letters but yet to receive response from the rely brands targeting to support the event. Therefore on the other hand, the organizers are living any stone unturned as they have lined up series of events on ground either brands come to their rescue or not the event must carry on. Pa Kasumu born 16th March 1953 in Agbeni area of Ibadan, Oyo State hade already marked his 55 years birthday which was parts of the events programme. There will also be a two day event that will be preceded by a World Press Conference and Courtesy Visits to three South-Western State Governors in this month 2008. Friday 23rd, May 2008 in Ogun State the best of time with Stage Play, Film Show, Gyration, Cultural Dance, Pa Kasumu on Hot Seat etc in the evening at the Cultural Center, Kuto, Abeokuta with a programme tagged ‘Artiste Nite”. Reuben Abati Honours Media Nite Out Awards

Though, the whole audience had waited for cool headed and soft spoken writer for so long before he eventually sneaked into the venue in brown native wears. Dotun Taylor whom was the M C of the event quickly transferred the microphone to the dark-skinned and the former lecturer at the Olabisi Onabanjo University to deliver lecture at the event. He talked about Journalists Guide Against Misinformation. He advised journalists to be accurate and abjective in any report they file out for public consumption. Those that went home with awards were Ofuma Agali as the Best Brand Writer of the Year. Best Political Writer went to Josiah Abiola . Best Society Writer went to Funsho Akinwale. Best Female Writer went to Bunmi Beckley. Best Entertainment Writer went to Victor Akande. Best Sports Writer went to Bamidele Boluwaji. Best Media Friendly Company went to HPZ. Sola Kosoko won the Best T V Presenter award. Moyo Oyatogun won the Best Radio Presenter award. Skye Bank won the Best Media Friendly Bank. Celtel won the Best Media Friendly Network. Media Friendly Govrenor went to His Excellency Otunba Gbenga Daniel.

Olaiya Igwe Shoots N34 Million Movie
t j on 05/07/2008 at 3:51pm (UTC) | | | The quest to take Nollywood to enviable heights in standard of production and story has received a big boost with the completion of the production of Ebun Oloyede’s Aditu Kosegbeja; a multi-million naira production according to Star track findings. The movie, shot on location in Abeokuta, Ile Ife and Ilesha, is another attempt at pushing forward the frontiers of Nigerian movies.
Aditu Kosegbeja is Olaiya Igwe’s movie. It is a compelling story that preaches religious tolerance and unity among the two leading religions in the world, Islam and Christianity. It also shows that God, the creator of heaven and earth has not mandated anybody to fight his battle but rather enjoins all humans to see his fellow human as his or her brother and worshippers of the same God. According to the producer, aside from shooting both in English language and Yoruba, the movie will also be lip synced in French, so that French speaking countries can have access to the movie without difficulties. “What I have done is an example for other producers. I have always been a trail blazer and this will definitely redefine the way things are done in this part of the world. We hope to explore every available opportunity to give the movie the maximum exposure through film festivals, exhibitions and other traditional means. The cast of Aditu is not just large but heavy on A-list actors which include Prince Jide Kosoko, Jibola Daboh, Prof. Akinwale, Binta Ayo Mogaji, Sokoti, Aderupoko, Monsuru Obadina and Anti Bukky Ajayi. The rest are Femi Ogedengbe, Yomi Faleye (Osaghie), Dr. Kola Oyewo, Ebun Oloyede, Chief Kanran, Adebayo Salami, Alagba Olowomojuore, Olumide Bakare and Bayo Bankole amongst others.
