X-Project rocks Global Excellence and AY Party

X-Project who are toping chart on radio and television stations courtesy their new album Sierra Naija stole the show at the Global Excellence awards which took place at the Aquatic Hall, Ikeja on
Sunday. When the whole crew of X Project came into the hall including the dwarf who danced in their latest video Lo rile, the crowd went agog. It took then 30 minutes after their arrival before they storm the stage.
Immediately Gbenga Adeyinka d 1st introduced them as the next act to perform on stage every where was silence. The whole crowd was in suspense to watch X-Project on stage.
The leader of the X Project group, Majeed first grab to say, “Lo rile”. Instantly, the audience replied:“Odi Gombe”. Slez and Saal , the two sierraloneans.They first perform Ayemi, one of the hit tracks from their previous album. The crowd responded well. A lot
of accolades were given to them after their first performance on stage.
The most interesting and amazing song of the night was Lo rile. Showing dexterity on the wheel of Steel, when D J Blinky B dropped the awaiting song and requested by the crowd Lo rile. Every where went ablaze immediately X Project started the song. The audience stood up quickly to dance in reacting to the song.When the song got to the verse that sang Boboie O tie Le, (this guy you are not hot) the dwarf guy in the video suddenly came out from nowhere to dramatize exactly what he did in the video. This actually stole
many hearts in the hall. More so, after the scintillating performances at the Aquatic Hall, X Project with their crew stormed A Y show massively. As Planned, they dominate every artistes performed at the memorable event. They dazzled the crowd with only Lo rile. “We know our performance is nice. We thank our fans that have been supporting us. X-Project will be coming out in another dimension at Kennis Music Easter Fiesta. You guys have not seen anything. Just watch out for X Project in Easter,” X Project said after their performance at A Y Show which took place at the famous Muson Centre, Lagos.
Mean while, information revealed that the Lo rile Odi Gombe crooner will be at Kennis Music Easter Fiesta which comes up on Good Friday 21st March, 2008 at Planet One , Maryland. 22nd March, The Yard will be the place to be at Lawanson, Surulere. On Easter Sunday, 23rd March, 2008, X-Project will be in Jos for
Nite of Thousand Laugh. On Easter Monday, the Gombe crew will be at Kuramo Beach for second version on Kennis Music Easter Fiesta and Ibadan respectively.

Kennis Music Easter Fiesta

planning big for 2008 Easter Fiesta. According to
Kenny Ogungbe, this year will mark the 10th
anniversary of the annual concert that usually shakes
Lagos.
Planet One, Maryland is the venue of the V I P guests.
Kuramo Beach is the venue for the yet mature minds.
“The reason we strategically choose two venues is
because of our ardent audience of our entertainment
programs on radio and television stations. Though, it
has become our annual culture to choose two venues.
But this year will be extremely different. We are
marking the 10 anniversary of the widely patronage
concert in Lagos. For the Planet One version which
comes up 21th March, 2008. It will feature artistes
like King Sunny Ade, X-Project, 9ice, Soul E and other
artistes. Kuramo Beach version comes up 24th March,
2008 will feature rave of the moment X-Project,
9ice,2Face, Faze, Soul E and other artistes”, he said.
Timaya, 9ice Stole the Show at MTN 2Face Lagos Concert
MTN, the giant telecommunications company in Nigeria
lured the Niger Delta based dance hall star, Timaya to
Lagos for 2Face and friends tour. The waiting Lagos
music fans quickly ran through him when the Gandoki,
the ace comedian from Warri introduced him as the act
coming on stage, whole went agog to welcome him to
Lagos.
He performed Everybody Calls Me Timaya, Ogolongo and
Dem Papa tracks from his current album. He put up
scintillating performances.
Another artiste that set the fans ablaze was 9ice, the
rave of the moment. The Gongo Aso crooner who is
currently making headlines in the newspapers,
magazines, radio and television dazzled the MTN
subscribers with his fantastic lyrics. 9ice
entertained the crowd with Little Money, Ganja and
Gongo Aso respectively on stage.
After 9ice, 2 Baba as he is been called presently
amongst his lovers storm the stage in a dynamic way.
He entertained the much awaited crowd with his band
boys. 2Face dropped many numbers from his first and

The graduate of the University of Lagos gathered
friends and celebrity at large to mark the memorable
day in his life.
Pa Fatai Rolling Dollar and Akin Shuga were both
contenders to drop fantastic lyrics for Koffi. Rolling
Dollar on stage held the crowd for many minutes before
he quits the stage.

Dare Art Alade Promotes Single

track information has it that his single has started
making waves on the radio stations. The hit track
which features 2Face Idibia is the cynosure of all
eyes. It has been getting attention from radio, club D
Js. The video on the other hand is toping chart on
television stations at the moment.
The former Storm Records artiste will be releasing the
whole album in couple of weeks according to the R & B
singer.
“It is good to bounce back. Dare has been very quiet
for a while as far as music is concerned. Yes, I think
is due to my future which I need to structure well. As
a man, you need to marry one day. This is one of the
key challenges. My fans should just be on their feet

MTN Mega Concert With 2face and Friends

adult fans of Nigerian music star 2Face Idibia
thronged the Sports Complex of University of Benin to
watch celebrity artistes that had teamed up with
multiple awards winning singing sensation 2Face.
The occasion was the kick off of the much publicised
MTN Xtracool Tour with 2Face and Friends, put together
by Do joes Management and powered by MTN’s hlifestyle
youthful brand Xtracool. The concert was preceded with
visit to Good Samaritan Home at 2pm on Saturday March
1st, hours before the concert proper according to Star
track findings. The tour team, comprising MTN, Do joes
Management, 2Face Idibia and retinue of artiste
friends such as Sasha, Marvellous Benji and Sound
Sultan among others. 2Face donated various items on
behalf of MTN, which include food, clothes, shoes to
the less privileged children of the home.The African
Queen crooner inspired residents of the orphanage with
his words and music which he sang to their admiration.
And to the chagrin and joy of the children of the
home, the mega music star, in his magnanimity, donated
a sum of N100, 000 in cheque.
