Q-Club Ablazes for D J Midas Birthday
TJ on 10/04/2007 at 5:24am (UTC) | | | Olumide Adedoyin, D J Midas, has added a year. The midas touch who plight his trade with 93.7 Rhythm Fm, Lekki recently celebrated his birthday at the famous celebrities hang out in Ikeja, Q-Club.
The popular disc Jockey lured lots of Nigerian music stars to the dance floor to dazzle the audience. Star of the moment, Lawal Olumo fondly called Konga was the cynosure of all eyes when he entered the stage. He performed his popular track, Baby Konga and other interesting tracks. Lineo, the I Dey Ring crooner followed with his razzmatazz attitude demonstration on stage. X-Project, added glamour to the event when they arrived the venue in convoy with their delectable and acrobatic dancers. They performed Lori Le, the fresh track that is making waves on radio at the moment and Tumba Dance.
“I’m very excited to see lots of Nigerian artistes honoring me today. I feel on top of the world. I appreciate everybody here today. I can’t just express how I feel. Any way, I’ve paid my dues. It is not a surprise seeing people behind me but the truth is without these people I’m noting”, he said. Other role calls are LKT, Puffy T, DJ Tee, Dudu, Omobaba to mention few.

Chascolee, Side One Dazzled at F.C.M.B Sponsored Nigeria Super Model Opening Search

The event which was held at Pathfinder Hotel, Ado Ekiti penultimate week saw the celebrities showing like a million stars. D.J. Chascolee storming the mixer made the fans curious of the D J that would dish out songs to them. When he eventually handled the mixer,the whole fans and models that participated in the event were amazed with the scintillating performance they saw.
Egbon Cyprian Chibuike, Chascolee who heal from Imo state gave out his best.
Side one on the other hand stormed the stage with stunt 141 dancers. The kokotikoko crooner dazzled the crowd along side Dream, sonorous voice act. Jalapa, the fantastic afro hip hop star shows the stuff he made of when he performed his popular song, Jangrofer.
Therefore, the organizer of the event stated that the objective of the event is to search as face of Nigeria on the international scene .The next edition of the event as star track gathered will be at Options Nite Club in Ibadan where models in this area would be chanced to show case the beauty they have.

K Dog Storms Nigeria, Stages “The Return of the King

Oluseun Komolafe Sean, a.k.a. K-Dog, the Nigerian afro 'R&B', international hip- hop star who based in the United Kingdom will storm Nigeria next month for is album launch , if the information reaching Star track is anything to go by. In a chat with Sta Image, the event company that is staging this grove on behalf of the Nigerian ambassador in the U.K, it was learnt that the show is titled The Return of the King, that has his coming album listening party, home is home at a popular hang out in Lagos. The place has not been disclosed by the event company.The event is to celebrate the talented artiste who has been representing Nigerians on the music international scene, since he left Nigeria couple of years back. “We believe in his brand that is why we are marketing him to successful brands in Nigeria in order to associate with the successful Nigerian ambassador in the United Kingdom. Their brands will get additional prominent leveraging on the international scene by supporting the show”, the C. E. O of Sta Image said.
